Leading global media technology company Adstream announces the latest addition to its worldwide network of 24 offices covering 93 markets.
Located in the heart of Spain’s main media hub Madrid, Adstream’s new facility offers a digital TVC delivery service to Spanish broadcasters.
James Carpenter, Adstream’s Head of Operations said, “This significantly expands Adstream’s footprint in Europe. Digital TV delivery is one of the many ways in which we help creative agencies, media agencies and their clients work better together and I’m certain that our Spanish clients will welcome this new service.” Carpenter added, “Adstream’s technology and team will be key to transforming the way commercials are distributed in Spain and help make the process hassle free for everyone. With major broadcasters already on board and both international deliveries into Spain and domestic deliveries for major Spanish agencies and their brands underway, business has started well.”
Managing director Sonia Garcia Vilas, who is credited with pioneering digital delivery with key Spanish broadcasters and agencies, leads the new facility. Garcia Vilas said, “Adstream Spain is now open for business! The launch of our digital delivery solutions locally will allow brands and their agencies deliver television commercials in a fast, reliable, easy to track and cost efficient way, which is also environmentally friendly.”
“Already ten of the main Spanish broadcast groups have led the way in understanding the benefits that Adstream Spain brings to the market by connecting to this new digital platform, and the first half of 2010 sees an already confirmed rapid expansion to this network.”
Sonia, who brings 10 years media experience to Adstream Spain, started out with Monster at its online launch and was instrumental in helping win and service key international accounts with Barclays bank, Grupo Sigla amongst them. In 2004 she launched the Madrid office of Getty Images and has since worked with advertising agencies BBDO, Publicis, McCann Erickson, Young & Rubicam as well publishing groups in Spain: PRISA, Recoletos, Hachette Filipacchi, G+J and Zeta group.
